The Secret to Great Decision Making with Julia Klotz
Every person makes around 20,000 decisions a day. Many of these are unconscious and based on cognitive heurists. This leads to systematic distortions in perception, so-called biases such as stereotypes and prejudices that categorize our world. This is the only way we can make quick decisions given the wealth of information. The disadvantage is obvious: (unconscious) prejudices lead to wrong decisions that have far-reaching consequences in business.
Personal Role Discovery: Directing for Managers with Violeta Mikic
In the session with Violeta Mikic, the fellows receive practical support in the areas of appearance, impact and presence. The focus is particularly on gestures, facial expressions and body language, which, in harmony with the voice, convey an authentic and convincing message. In the online format, Violeta shows how to present yourself effectively nonverbally in the digital space. On site, the focus is on the importance of the "how" - why the type of presentation is often more important than the content. The fellows learn to combine nonverbal and verbal communication and to specifically strengthen their performance skills. Direct feedback helps them to further develop their strengths and appear more confident.
Leading from a Secure Base: Creating Psycho-logical Security with Michael Methner
In today's dynamic working world, psychological safety is a key to team success. According to a Google study, it is the most important factor in creating successful teams. Amy Edmondson describes psychological safety as the belief that you can act without fear of interpersonal risks. In this module, based on the models of Daniel Goleman, Stephen Porges and Richard Schwarz, you will learn to take responsibility, trust and use vulnerability as a strength. The fellows will explore why vulnerability is often avoided and discover how it can promote psychological safety. The focus is on how to create a secure base in the team that promotes creativity, enables risks and removes the taboos surrounding mistakes - the foundations for personal and professional growth.

In this workshop, you will work with Sabine Hansen to develop a success and strengths profile using 1 or 2 selected profiles from the group of participants and a competency-based interview with the test subjects, which you will then use to work out your unique selling points (key competencies) in comparison to others.
Presence and performance skills with Nicola Bramkamp
The business world is heavily male-dominated - what effect does that have on our impact and presence? We are often the only woman in a room full of men, how do we deal with this special position? Generations of successful women have copied the appearance characteristics of men, from clothing to body language to the tone of their voice. But is that authentic and really effective?
